Biography:
These photographs were taken while working as a photo assistant for various commercial photographers, making candid portraits of people out around the city. I wanted to capture the people and environment of Dallas by spotlighting the encounters I had with these people, trying to elevate the everyday into something meaningful and informative of the time and place they were taken. Like most photographers, the experience of meeting new people and learning a little bit more about the world is something I enjoy very much and hope to continue hearing their stories for a long time.
