Biography:
Each little detail in every little thing makes it a beautiful creation … I just get to capture it and share it with the world. Since the age of three, I have expressed my creativity through anything I could get my hands on. My desire to create led me into being a painter for movies, television and theater. A self taught artist exercising my creativity daily in different expressive modalities. As a photo journalist, I find that the best way to challenge the mind is by traveling. It requires different areas of the creative mind to expand and explore the things left unseen. Every photograph is meant to entice the viewer to see beyond what is offered in a moment passed. Moving into the hearts and minds of the viewer through the image. The images represented here were taken on a recent trip to Tanzania. One of the challenges of photography is to be a representation of a world that many may not even realize exists, or ever get the chance to see first hand. Whether it be in your backyard or across the globe, there are pockets of life waiting to be uncovered by the explorative eye. Spitfire Photography is meant to go between the layers of living things and bring them to life through the image. At first glance, we may mistake an object, or a living creature, as what we are told it to be, but a piece of cloth or a face, has more to offer us despite that first impression. Spitfire Photography lures us beyond the five senses into world that breathed, if only for a moment.
